8:00 a.m. – Arrival
Answered phone calls and wipe down machines.
Edit the equipment protocol document that I wrote while
shadowing last week.
12:00 p.m. – Lunch
Researched articles on core exercises, low back pain, and
weight training.
3:30 p.m. – Weight
training circuit
4:00 p.m. – Departure

Today, I didn’t really do much but I still enjoyed being in
the Vertex atmosphere with the staff and clients.
By editing the equipment
protocol document that was the result of me shadowing, I realized that I am
learning more and there is a lot of direction into performing in each
machine. A trainer really needs to
be specific and be able to describe how to use each piece of equipment as if
they were painting a picture.
