On Monday January 12, I had the pleasure to team with GoPaperBoy to educate middle school and high school students about the benefits of exercise. In this 45-minute presentation, I took the students through a demonstrated workout and taught them the benefits of strength training and how they could strengthen their whole body in less then 30 minutes with no equipment.
I had the privilege of talking with the founder, Jennifer Padova Gallagher of GoPaperboy, about their amazing program that provides a platform for families to get the help they need with their children and everyday tasks, from babysitters, to tutors, to coaches, to pet sitting. They provide an on line directory of talented local college and high school students with detailed profiles from which to choose. Families can post jobs and search student profiles. Students, for free, create profiles set their hourly rate and schedule. They can apply for posted jobs or wait for families to contact them.
My college years are behind me, but I know GoPaperboy would have been a great way for my friends and I to use our talents and abilities to not only make extra money during school, but also build our resumes and relationships in the area.
If you are looking to fill a job (Click HERE for a list different job categories) or a student looking to use your talents to make some extra money (Click HERE for a list of available jobs) this could be a service to help you. GoPaperboy is a great new platform for both students and families, check out their website www.gopaperboy.com.
