What does the word “diet” mean to you?  If you’re like most people, you think that a diet is something you go on to lose weight.  I’m going to demand that you change your mind-set about that word.  The word diet simply refers to what you eat.  It doesn’t mean that you’re necessarily trying to lose weight, and it shouldn’t be something you “go on.”  This information is not a “diet”; this is information that will help you understand how to lose weight.  Part of that plan includes adjusting your diet to help you accomplish your goals and live a healthy lifestyle, but this plan is not about going on a diet.
